Evaashan & Sashni’s Tamil Wedding | Umgeni Road Temple, Durban

What is a wedding without the support of family and friends. The planning process can be quite daunting, especially for couples living in Josi but having their wedding in Durban. I met one of Sashni’s sisters with a pram and child in tow (now that’s sisterly love lol) at the Eastern Bridal Fair in 2011 whom Sashni had enlisted to assist with the planning and booking of service providers. To Evaashan and Sashni, thank you for picking me. It was a pleasure to be a part of this special chapter in your lives.Bodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom PhotographyBodhi Vision Photography, Tamil Wedding Photography, Durban Indian Bride & Groom Photography

How did you meet?

We met on campus

What is your most special memory of your wedding?
Our most memorable moment of wedding was exchanging our vows and garlands with each other, it was very personal moment even though we were being witnessed by 400 people.

What was the hardest part of the planning process?
Also for a tamil bride I think my most memorable moment was when the thali was tied, nothing more symbolic and final to say that you are now married.

Did  you experience any unexpected turns during the wedding process and how  did you handle it?
Our most difficult part of the wedding was planning a wedding in durban from Joburg, the tiresome trips and endless phone calls made things difficult, thankful for having a supportive family made it easier.

Any advice for brides-to-be?
Advice for future brides is to not stress, have fun and try not to fight with your significant half, because the brides always right:) Just joking it’s really all about compromise and if as a couple you make all the decisions then it will be smooth sailing from there.
